The 12th China International Dye Industry, Pigments and Textile Chemicals Exhibition (China Interdye 2012), organized by China Dyestuff Industry Association, China Dyeing and Printing Association, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanghai Sub-Council and China Chamber of International Commerce Shanghai Chamber of Commerce and co-organized by Shanghai International Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., will move to its new venue at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and be held from the 11th to the 13th of April, 2012. The exhibition is expected to serve as the premier purchasing platform for the world's dye and chemical industry and lay a solid foundation for the sector to expand domestic demand and drive growth.

The show's theme as "the place to gather in order to create a brand new dye industry" is reflected in its size, an exhibition space of 30,000 square meters, the number of exhibitors, more than 500, and its global diversity, exhibitors from more than 14 countries and regions. Exhibited products will be showcased in Halls 1 and 4, including a variety of advanced environmentally friendly dyestuffs, organic pigments, auxiliaries, intermediate and environmentally sound equipment as well as textile printing products and equipment. The larger Hall 1, an expansive 25,000 sq. m. space, will be the locale for overseas firms as well as domestic dyestuff and organic pigment makers. Hall 4, occupying 5,000 sq. m., will house the exhibition booths for auxiliaries along with printing and environmental protection equipment and devices. In addition, special showcasing areas will be set up for newly designed auxiliaries, printers and equipment for protecting the environment, injecting new vitality into the exhibition.

This year's unprecedented roster of exhibitors include a mix of leading Chinese and foreign firms including DyStar, BASF, Tanatex, Huntsman, Yorkshire, Clariant, Lamberti, Bozzetto, Rudolf, M. Dohmen, Lonsen, Runtu, Jihua Group, Yabang, Hwalle, Transfar, Dymatic, Anoky, Meilida and JECO. As a result of the success of Interdye Asia 2011 held last year in India, nearly 60 Indian companies have signed up for this year's event, representing an increase of 20 percent from a year earlier and causing the demand for booths to exceed supply. Showing how interest in the exhibition has gone truly global, new first-time exhibitors include companies from the Netherlands, Spain, Singapore and the U.K.

Co-located seminars will be held by China Dyeing and Printing Industry Association, China Wool Textile Industry Association, China Knitting Industry Association as well as the Masterbatches, Textile Printing Auxiliaries and Organic Pigments Speciality Committees of the China Dyestuff Industry Association, among others, providing excellent networking and collaborative opportunities for professional attendees. In addition, companies that are household names across the industry including Dow, Transfar, Hohenstein Textile Consulting, Swiss Textile-Testing and Skycenter Chemicals will hold seminars to introduce new advanced technologies and concepts.

The official exhibition website, www.chinainterdye.com, has been upgraded with a fresh new look.
